Christian Benteke has revealed that his Belgium team-mate and close friend, Eden Hazard wants to play for Real Madrid one day.
The two players came up in the Belgium youth set-up at similar times and have played together on numerous occasions and the Aston Villa striker has told reporters that Hazard wishes to play for the Spanish side at some point in his career.
Benteke said: “I am not surprised at Eden’s success with Chelsea — and he can do even better. He has the qualities needed to become an even greater player. His dream is to join Real Madrid — so I don’t see why he can’t join them in a year or two.”
The two players met at the weekend as Hazard’s chelsea smashed Benteke’s Aston Villa 8-0 at Stamford Bridge.
