Paris Saint-Germain manager admits star could be on his way out

Edinson Cavani could be set to leave Paris Saint-Germain due to attitude problems, according to manager Laurent Blanc.

The Uruguayan is reportedly still unsettled in France and is still contemplating his long-term future, and with that in mind, Blanc has come out and confirmed that his attitude is causing problems within the camp.

Cavani voiced his concerns last season about being played out of position in order to accommodate for star-striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 28-year-old has been forced out to the wing under Blanc and he’s publicly stated he’s not happy with that role, sparking speculation that he could be ready to leave the club.

Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester United are both believed to be in the market for a new striker, as could Chelsea and Liverpool, so they will all be put on red-alert after Blanc’s latest admission.

Cavani’s Attitude Problem

‘There is a problem with Cavani’s behaviour but my job is to think of the entire squad as a collective,’ said Blanc.

‘We did hold a staff meeting and among the various issues we discussed were Cavani and his complaints.

‘The desires of the individual can’t affect the rest of the team.

‘I believe that he can score here but I understand if he wants to consider other career opportunities.’
