England drop to 13th in World Rankings

FIFA have released their World Rankings for November and it sees Roy Hodgson’s England drop three places from 10th in the world, to 13th.

The three place drop is due to them losing two friendlies in five days. A home defeat to Chile was then followed up by a defeat to Germany as well.

The new rankings will not alter the seeds for next Summer’s World Cup as they take October’s rankings, which is even worse for England as they were 17th in the world at the end of that month, which is their lowest rank since 2001.

Below you can see the top-10 in the world according to FIFA.

1 Spain 1507pts (1)

2 Germany 1318pts (2)

3 Argentina 1251pts (3)

4 Colombia 1200pts (4)

5 Portugal 1172pts (14)

6 Uruguay 1132pts (6)

7 Italy 1120pts (8)

8 Switzerland 1113pts (7)

9 Netherlands 1106pts (8)
