The youngster only joined the club earlier this summer
Arsenal centre forward Takuma Asano has joined Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old joined the Gunners in July from Japanese club Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
He then travelled to the Rio Olympics to represent Japan in the football, scoring two goals in three games.
Arsenal believe that Asano will play some much needed first team football during his spell in Germany.
Good news
Despite Asano’s exit, there is some good transfer news for the Gunners’ fans.
According to Sky Sports News HQ, Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi is travelling to London for his Arsenal medical.
It is believed that the German international will put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal at the Emirates Stadium.
