Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is planning on going all out on signing Alex Sandro from Juventus amid reports of the Brazilian’s desire to leave.

Conte previously tried in vain to sign Sandro in the recent transfer window but Chelsea failed to put in a big enough offer to tempt Juvetus to sell.

Reports in Italy claim that Sandro is ready to quit Juventus next summer after the 2018 World Cup.

And it’s believed that Conte will even try to get him in January but it’s more likely Sandro will stay at Juventus until the end of the season.

Conte is a big fan of the Brazilian left-back and wants to bolster his squad as currently he only has Marcos Alonso as the only viable left wing-back.

Chelsea made multiple bids in the summer for Sandro but Juventus wouldn’t budge after already selling centre-back Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan. Sandro would have been the most expensive defender if Chelsea landed him. It’s been reported that the Blues even made a £70m bid to land the left-back last summer.

But Conte has complained numerous times about his club’s lack of activity in the transfer market despite getting club record signing Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger among others.

And he will expect Chelsea to get more of his targets in January or next summer. Especially considering he recently stated to the press that he wanted to give the Chelsea board a list of players he wanted.

So no doubt, Sandro will be on the very top of Conte’s list come January and next summer.

Sandro is expected to play for Brazil in the world cup and is considered one of the best left-backs in the world.
