Man City would monitor Haaland’s injury ahead of Liverpool game.
Manchester City faces a big blow ahead of the crucial Liverpool clash in the Premier League. The 23-year-old forward is currently playing for Norway in the Euro qualifying round.
The young gun was a matchwinner for his club last season and this season, he has already scored 17 goals across all competitions.
Haaland was only selected among the replacements for friendly international with Faroe Islands. The 23-year-old went down clutching his ankle, needing treatment but being able to complete the contest.

While talking after Thursday’s encounter, Norway team doctor Ola Sand said that Haaland had suffered a problem with the same area. He said, “He got a slight twist in his ankle, where he is a bit vulnerable.
“It hurts a lot right away, and then it goes away pretty quickly. Then we’ll see tomorrow how he is then.”
