Manchester United are contemplating on offloading Casmeiro in the winter window.
The Brazil international is considered as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
The midfielder has attracted interest from a few Saudi Pro League clubs and United may consider selling him to focus on a rebuild at Old Trafford.
The former Real Madrid man has struggled to find his best form this season but could be an indispensable asset if he manages to regain his form and confidence.
He is currently out with a hamstring injury and faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and could be offloaded in the January transfer window.
Casemrio has entered the twilight years of his career and a move to Saudi Arabia could be an interesting option for him.
Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano believes Man United would be open to offers for the Brazilian midfielder.
He told CaughtOffside: “Currently, I’m told it’s still quiet with regards to Saudi Pro League clubs and Casemiro. No concrete proposals or negotiations are taking place.
“We’ll have to see what happens in the summer, but it depends on a lot of factors including Saudi plans, Man United decisions and more. I think he’s still a very important player, but has just been unlucky with his injuries.”
