Saudi Arabia prepared to pay €100m to sign Man United midfielder Bruno Fernandes

United may soon be presented with the opportunity to cash in on their star man

Saudi Pro League are reportedly prepared to pay €100m to sign Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. They are targeting 2024 for the potential signing and they are monitoring the progress of Portugal international.

The Man United skipper joined the club in the winter of 2020 and he ahs impressed in his first two seasons. He is currently one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

The Portugal international has scored 68 goals and 57 assists from his 201 appearances across all competitions. He helped the club to win the EFL Cup title this year and reached the final of FA Cup.

Fernandes’ contract with the Red Devils will expire in 2026 and they have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months. There is no such update that the 29-year-old is interested in a switch away from United.

As per the reports of Fichajes, United may soon be presented with the opportunity to cash in on their star man. Saudi Pro League -clubs including Al Hilal are willing to pay £87.3m for his signature. Al Nassr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli are also chasing the deal.
