As many as four Premier League clubs are taking a keen interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt, according to The Mail.

Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to Germany to watch Brandt in action.

But the Red Devils are set to face competition for his signature from Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton.

Brandt, 20, has two goals and six assists in 12 Bundesliga games so far this term and has already won four senior caps for his country.

He is equally adept on either wing, and can also play through the middle.

Last season, Brandt scored in six consecutive Bundesliga matches, becoming the youngest player since Gerd Müller to achieve this by scoring 72 seconds into a 2–1 home win over Hertha Berlin.

He was also a member of Germany’s Olympic squad in Rio, where they won the silver medal, losing to hosts Brazil in a penalty shoot-out.
