Man United interested in signing Donyell Malen this January.
The Red Devils have been offered the chance to sign Donyell Malen who has struggled for opportunities at Borussia Dortmund in recent months.
He has scored six goals in 23 appearances this season and a price tag of £26million has been set for the Netherlands international.
Malen came through the Ajax academy before joining Arsenal and made his move to the Bundesliga in 2021.
Erik Ten Hag wants to sign a new right winger this January and are considering a swap deal for the Dutch forward where we could see Jadon Sancho head in the opposite direction.
It is reported that Man United have already opened discussions with Malen’s representatives in Germany and is viewed as a direct replacement for out-of-favour Jadon Sancho.
Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has revealed United’s pursuit of the Dutchman this January.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “They held discussions with people close to Timo Werner, for example, at Leipzig. Timo Werner will be open to returning to the Premier League in general, so he could be one of the candidates.”
“They spoke to the new representatives of Donyell Malen, the Borussia Dortmund striker. He wants to leave and seal a move in January. That’s why he has new agents now. Donyell Malen is one to watch.”
