Thomas Tuchel is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season.
The German club has announced they would part ways with current manager Thomas Tuchel at the end of this campaign.
Tuchel’s contract was set to expire in 2025 but he will now exit the club on June 30 this year.
The former Chelsea boss replaced Julian Nagelssman last year and secured the title for the Bavarians on the final day of the season.
The German club would now start exploring behind the scenes for the next manager, with Xabi Alonso and Jurgen Klopp favourties to take the Bayern hot seat.
Bayern have lost their last three games and have dropped eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table.
The former PSG and Chelsea boss has struggled to find a proper balance in the squad which has resulted for the worse this campaign.
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said: “In an open, good conversation we came to the decision to mutually end our collaboration in the summer. Our goal is to carry out a sporting realignment with a new coach for the 2024/25 season.
“Until then, every individual in the club is expressly challenged to achieve the maximum possible in the Champions League and the Bundesliga. I also explicitly hold the team responsible.”
