Ruud Gullit says Antonio Conte should start TWO different Chelsea players against Arsenal, but who are they?
Ex-Chelsea star Ruud Gullit says Antonio Conte should start Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Cesc Fabregas against Arsenal on Saturday.
Loftus-Cheek started for the Blues in their 4-2 extra time victory away at Leicester City in the EFL Cup third round.
Fabregas also had an impact on that game, as he scored the two decisive goals which put Chelsea through.
Gullit believes his former club were ‘passive’ during their recent 2-1 Premier League defeat at home to Liverpool.
He thinks that both Loftus-Cheek and Fabregas will give Chelsea something different in attack this weekend.
‘increase their threat’
“I can understand why many Chelsea fans want to see Fabregas start against the Gunners and increase their attacking threat,” said Gullit.
“Personally, I would like to see Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the Chelsea team too. He has not played at all in the Premier League so far this season and I don’t know why.”
