The English Premier League has been postponed till the 30th of April.

After the rapid growth of the novel CoVID-19 in Europe, the Premier League decided to temporarily suspend the league till April 3, 2020.

The previous decision had come hours after the English FA had announced that the league will continue behind closed doors only to change their minds after Mikel Arteta and Callum Hudson-Odoi were tested positive.

Now they have come up with another announcement that the league will now be postponed till 30th April.

While this decision stands to financially implicate many companies and jobs, it does lower the risk of human life being at hazard.

“Additionally, we have collectively agreed that the professional game in England will be further postponed until no earlier than 30 April,” the FA said. “The progress of COVID-19 remains unclear and we can reassure everyone the health and welfare of players, staff and supporters are our priority.”

The season is set to be indefinitely pushed till 1st June as the last date of rearrangement.

Here is hoping that football does come back quick but definitely not at the cost of human health. Europe is suffering now and we must pray for people to get better quickly.
