“I’m thrilled to be here and once again test myself in one of the most competitive leagues in the world,” stated the new Sampdoria No. 10.
“I can’t wait to get started and work hard. I’m going to do my bit to generate optimism and will try to help the team and the coach, who really wanted to bring me in. I know the fans are wonderful and that’s something I like because it reminds me of Argentine supporters. My target is to have a fantastic year, both for them and the club”, the 26-year-old added.
In the disappointing six months with Atalanta last year, Rigoni made 12 competitive appearances, whilst scoring three goals.
