In a recent interview, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed who the best midfielder he has played with is…and it’s a pretty confusing answer.
Fabregas has played with some stars in his time, particularly during his spells are Barcelona, stars that include Xavi and Iniesta, but instead has revealed that the best midfielder he’s shared the pitch with, is MATHIEU FLAMINI.
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Cesc Fabregas actually rates the Frenchman as being a better midfield than Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and Xabi Alonso.
Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen, maybe Chelsea’s below-par season has sent poor Cesc insane, because there are surely better choices. In the interview, Fabregas also singles former Arsenal teammate Gilberto Silva out for praise- it just gets worse!
