Monaco mananager Leonardo Jardim has hinted at a move for star striker Ramadel Falcao, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Jardim dropped a hint at Falcao’s future to French media after telling them that he is up for selection for now.
And reports in the Spanish media suggest that the Colombian centre forward is set for an initial loan switch to Real Madrid. Falcao signed for the principality club last summer for £47 million from Atletico Madrid, however he has been out injured since January with a knee ligament injury, which forced him out of the World Cup in Brazil.
Jardim told French paper L’Equipe: ‘For now, he is a Monaco player and I am counting on him.’
The Monaco boss also stated that he thinks Falcao will play in the Emirates Cup over the next weekend.
‘I think he will be able to start playing again at the Emirates Cup. He is now in the final phase of his recuperation,’ Jardim said.
