Aaron Ramsey and John Stones on Barca’s radar
FC Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey and Everton defender John Stones, according to reports.
The La Liga giants can finally make transfers now after serving their embargo, which prevented them officially signing anyone over the summer, despite them managing to land Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid.
The winger has only just made his debut for Barca however, and that’s because the club couldn’t register him until the embargo was lifted.
However, now it has been removed, Barca are expected to be busy over the summer, and according to reports, two of their main targets could come from the Premier League.
Ramsey and Stones Interest
The Catalan club are interested in signing Ramsey from Arsenal, as they see him to be a perfect replacement for the likes of Xavi and potentially Andres Iniesta.
Barca were interested in the Welshman after his standout season a couple of years ago, but due to their transfer situation, they couldn’t get a deal done.
As well as Ramsey, the Spanish giants could also make a formal move for Everton star Stones, who is attracting interest from big clubs across Europe.
Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on landing the England international, whilst it emerged yesterday that Real Madrid could also enter the race.
It’s believed Barca could offer up to £90million for the duo, with £50m of that going on Ramsey.
