Officials at Etihad want Belgium contingency to persuade Hazard to jump ship
Manchester City are the latest side to be linked with a move for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Blues star is attracting a lot of interest across Europe, with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid all linked with making mega-money offers for the Belgian.
However, according to reports this morning, City are the latest side to be linked with the winger and they will apparently use their Belgian stars to help get the deal done.
Belgian Persuasion
It’s claimed officials at the Etihad Stadium have asked Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne to talk to Hazard about a potential move to City should he choose to leave Chelsea.
Hazard is heavily expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, but it was speculated that he’d join Real Madrid, as that is his dream destination.
Should Chelsea decide to sell the winger, they could raise anything from £65million to £80m.
