Chelsea striker Fernando Torres could be set for a move to the Brazilian league, in a swap deal for Corinthians’ highly rated youngster Malcolm.
Torres is currently on loan at Serie A side AC Milan, however that could be cut short should an agreement between Chelsea and Corinthians be made before January.
The Spaniard has suffered for form in Italy, notching just one goal in his 10 appearances so far. With Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy all on Chelsea’s books, it looks like Torres will be forced out either way.
Malcolm is just 17 years-old, however has a big reputation in Brazil with Barcelona also tracking him.
A move to either side would likely to be followed by a loan move elsewhere, but he’s certainly one for the future and would be an asset to whoever can snatch his signature.
