Fiorentina boss will quit if Cuadrado is sold

Fiorentina manager, Vincenzo Montella, has told the club that he will quit if they sell Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea this month.

The Colombian has been strongly linked with a move to West London this month, with his agent reportedly in London holding talks with officials from Stamford Bridge.

However, Montella has told the club that if they do sell the winger, he’ll walk out after he urged them not to sell halfway through the season.

According to reports, Chelsea have already had a £20.6million bid rejected, and it now looks like every bid will be turned away if Montella gets his way.

Despite not wanting to sell, Cuadrado has a release clause of £26m, so if Chelsea are prepared to meet that, Fiorentina will have no choice but to sell.
