Former Chelsea manager to takeover at Arsenal

Carlo Ancelotti has agreed a deal to takeover from Arsene Wenger according to reports in Italy. The former Chelsea manager is currently unemployed following his sacking at Bayern Munich.

Reports have emerged that Wenger will be stepping down this summer and will be handing over the position to Ancelotti. The Frenchman has been at the club for over 2 decades now and the fans have been asking for him to leave for a long time.

Ancelotti spent two seasons at Chelsea between 2009 and 2011. He won the Premier League and FA Cup in his first season but went trophy-less in the second season. The lack of silverware saw him getting sacked by Chelsea.

He has been linked with a return as the future of Antonio Conte is in the balance. The current manager’s relation with the board is said to be on the verge of collapsing and that has left the fans worried.
