Manchester United are preparing yet another busy Summer in the transfer market and this time could be selling more than they’re buying.
After another struggling season, United have been eliminated from all cup competitions and are now struggling to achieve a top-four finish with both Arsenal and Liverpool picking up impressive form ahead of the season run-in.
United have several tricky games coming up in the league and after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Arsenal on Monday night, morale is low in the camp.
Louis Van Gaal, who spent over £150million last Summer, is ready to get rid of some players from his current squad in order to finance yet another spending spree and four stars in particular are facing the axe.
Radamel Falcao, Robin Van Persie, Rafael and Juan Mata are all expected to leave United over the Summer, with Falcao’s loan deal set to expire and the club not wanting to make it permanent.
With Falcao’s loan expiring, Van Persie is set to be sold due to his age and injury concerns, whilst both Mata and Rafael aren’t seen as first-team material by Van Gaal.
It’s expected the club will look to sell the quartet and replace them with several high profile names being linked.
