Fulham complete the signing of Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah on a season-long loan. The 20-year old Dutchman is Fulham’s fourth deadline day signing. Fulham’s other signings today include Joe Bryan, Luciano Vietto and Sergio Rico.

Fosu-Mensah began his senior career at Manchester United in 2016 but his appearances for the club were sporadic. The Dutchman played only 21 matches for the Red Devils. He spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, making 24 appearances.

Fosu-Mensah told Fulham’s website, “I have a good feeling about the club. It has a nice history, it’s a nice club. Fulham has a lot of good players, and it’s good for my development to be here. I spoke to the Manager and he gave me a good feeling. I’m happy to be here and I want to keep progressing.”

All-in-all, Fosu-Mensah is Fulham’s 12th signing this summer and 5th loan signing. Fulham begin their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
