Atletico Madrid midfielder, Gabi, says his team will try and exploit Chelsea’s lack of desire to help them progress to the final of the Champions League.
Diego Simone’s side host Chelsea on Tuesday, encouraged after Chelsea’s defeat to Sunderland on the weekend., with Chelsea manager,Jose Mourinho,voicing his disappointment in his teams performace against relgation threatend Sunderland.
Midfielder Gabi has said: ‘I don’t know about ability but we certainly have more desire and we have to try and exploit that,’ ‘We have to take advantage of playing the first game at home, as it can prove decisive ahead of playing the return leg. ‘On Tuesday we can take a huge step towards the final – but we must produce on the pitch.’
Atletico Madrid are enjoying a strong campaign in La Liga, where they currently sit on top, four points clear of Real Madrid. They are unbeaten since February and will be a challange for Jose Mourinho’s side to overcome.
