Liverpool and Arsenal have been put on high alert after Muller’s announcement

Mario Gotze could be on his way out of Bayern Munich this summer with teammate Thomas Muller revealing the player is “not satisfied” at the club.

The Germany international hasn’t been happy in the Bundesliga for a while now according to reports and it began back when Pep Guardiola first took over as manager at the Allianz Arena.

The two don’t seem to get on and he has struggled to get as much first-team action as he would like and that has continued this season, with the 23-year old still failing to get much gametime at the club. Now, he could be set to look elsewhere for some more action.

Reunion with Jurgen Klopp?

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are eager to sign the attacking midfielder and will be happy to learn that he could now be available for transfer. Of course, if he was to join the latter of those two sides then he would be linking up with a former manager who he does get along with – Jurgen Klopp.

Thomas Muller – the German’s teammate – has now backed up the point that Gotze isn’t happy at his current club as he revealed today: “I speak with Mario and think he is not 100 per cent satisfied with his situation at Bayern.

“But I am not Mario’s agent, so I am not going to speak about his future.”

If he really isn’t happy then a move away from the club seems extremely likely at the end of the season. Will it be Arsenal or Liverpool though who secure his signature or another team entirely?
