AS Roma have fired a hands off warning to Chelsea as the blues line up a bid as they look to add striker cover for the injured Diego Costa.

The 23 year old has been linked with a big money move to Chelsea but Roma insist the striker is happy at the club and there will be no move this summer.

Reports inside Italy suggest Destro is open to the move to London if he is garanteed regular football and with first choice striker Diego Costa injured he would get plenty of opportunites as Chelsea fight on four fronts.

Roma’s president James Pollotta has said this about chelsea potential bid for Destro ‘He’ll stay 100% … Destro is absolutely not for sale and never has been’

The striker had a breakout season last term with 13 goals in 20 appearances which included a sensational hat trick in April.

With Fernando Torres’ move to Milan looking ever likely Chelsea need to act fast to bring in a new striker before Mondays Deadline or they will face having just one fit striker Didier Drogba.
