In an interview with Le Soir last month, Thierry Hazard said his son had rejected Chelsea’s latest offer because the Belgian winger wanted to see if Zinedine Zidane’s side would bid for him.
Hazard has been a long-term target for Los Blancos but the Belgium international says he was unhappy with his father’s comments and let him know as much recently.

“My dad says some bad things,” said Hazard with a smile.
“I talked with him, no worries. I’m focused with Chelsea. I’ve got two years contract left and I’m happy here.
“Like I said 10 times before, I want to finish this year and then we’ll see. But I’m happy here.”
Chelsea are willing to make Hazard their highest paid player of all-time. But the Belgian will wait until the end of the season before committing himself to the club.
