Chelsea’s reluctance to hand Eden Hazard a new contract worth £300,000 a week have cast doubts over his future at the club.

The Belgian has been a revelation with the Blues since his arrival from Lille back in the summer of 2012, but with the player’s deal expiring in two and a half years, Chelsea wanted to extend his contract, but are unwilling to meet the player’s demands.

The 24 year-old is rumoured to be earning £175,000 a week at the London outfit, but wants fresh terms of £300,000 a week. These terms would place the winger up there with Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa as the highest earners at the club.

However, the Premier League leaders are not prepared to meet his demands. The stalling over a new deal have now placed his admirers, Real Madrid and PSG on alert as they look to secure the services of the attacker.
