The Blues will be once again without captain John Terry against Hull City on Saturday.
The 35-year-old has been struggling to recover from injury in time for the clash this weekend.
The Blues defender has now missed three matches since straining ligaments around his ankle joint during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw over at Swansea City.
It was though he would return against Hull, However, Blues boss Antonio Conte confirmed that Terry is still unavailable.
“He hasn’t recovered from the injury with his ankle. We can see him after the international break,” said Conte, who also said that John Mikel Obi is struggling with a muscular problem.
Terry’s absence will be a blow for Chelsea as they have been weak at the back without him.
Chelsea have conceded a total of seven goals and lost two of the three matches he has been sidelined for.
They lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool, and were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, where all the goals were scored in a horrible first half for Conte’s side.
