German international Mats Hummels is reportedly pushing for a move to England in January due to be reportedly frustrated at Borussia Dortmund’s surprisingly poor form.
With Hummels himself calling Dortmund’s start to their season as “pathetic”, he is not the only player linked with a move away from last year’s Bundesliga runners-up.
Dortmund were able to keep hold of Hummels having given their star centre-back a £47m price tag in the summer, but holding off a move this winter may not prove so easy given their position in the Bundesliga relegation zone.
Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be waiting in the wings for the World Cup winner, keen on signing a man that could certainly ease the defensive woes apparent in both sides this season.
