Jose Mourinho has warned Paul Pogba to fall in line during a furious row between the manager and his most expensive player, as per reports

Pogba has been warming the bench for Manchester United in recent weeks after an apparent fall-out with Mourinho.

According to The Sun, the pair held heated talks in Mourinho’s office at Carrington, which did not go well. Pogba had made his unhappiness with his position in the side known to Mourinho.

Pogba’s frustration seems to have now boiled over after being involved in an argument with Mourinho at United’s training ground.

“Have a look at the sign on my door on the way out, it says I’m the coach,” Mourinho told Pogba. “I’m the boss.”

Pogba has failed to complete 90 minutes in any of the last five games. He has been substituted twice and brought on in three others.

The relationship between manager and player is at such a low point, that Pogba’s team have tentatively begun sounding out potential transfers.

Real Madrid may be interested in the France international having been beaten to Pogba’s signature by United in 2016.

Mourinho has already addressed questions about Pogba’s future and labelled rumours about a potential exit as ‘bulls***’.
