Spain defender Sergio Ramos has said that he may retire at Real Madrid despite being linked with a move away from the European Champions.

Los Blancos are set to offer a new deal to Ramos, with speculation growing about a potential transfer.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is interested in being reunited with a player who was a loyal lieutenant for him, whilst in the hot seat at Real Madrid.

However, the 28 year old has categorically said he has no intention of leaving his current club.

“I’m very happy where I am right now and I’m at a club I love with a two-year contract in front of me.

“The President knows that I don’t intend going anywhere when I’m loved and appreciated here.”

Ramos signed for Real nine years ago and has since played under eight different managers.
