Paris Saint-Germain striker was linked with shock move late last night
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has commented on transfer speculation that was linking him with a shock move to Premier League side Arsenal last night during Transfer Deadline Day.
It was well documented that Arsene Wenger wanted to sign a striker, and after falling short in his pursuit of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid, he turned his attentions to PSG.
The Frenchman initially wanted to sign Edinson Cavani, but was told no by Laurent Blanc, so he then made an initial enquiry about his strike-partner Ibrahimovic.

However, Arsenal were dealt another blow when it was confirmed the Swedish international wouldn’t be leaving Paris this summer.
When asked about reported interest from The Gunners, Ibrahimovic confirmed that a move to the Emirates Stadium was never a viable option.
He said: “No, so the interest that existed, I have not committed myself to.
“It is [agent] Mino [Raiola] who takes care of the pieces. When I give notice that I want something to happen I get involved. But this summer I have been resting up, I enjoyed the holiday.”
