Following the Chelsea v Burnley match British Media reported Blues fans booed their own players after the match.
Not true, fake news.
In fact, the fans cheered and encouraged the Chelsea team to hold their chins up, they fans were in full support of their team.
So why did the mainstream media lie?
The Sun, Mail and Express all reported that the Chelsea Football Club fans “booed” their players at the full time whistle.
However, rather than turning on their own team, the Blues crowd were actually booing the match officials.
On a point of order: if you’ve reported Chelsea were ‘booed off’ today, you’re a charlatan. Didn’t happen. I’ve openly reported when it has.

It was the ref who was booed off at Stamford Bridge today. Rightly or wrongly not the issue. The issue is utterly fabricated match reports.

That’s Sun, Mail & Express brazenly lying in headlines. Never happened. Up to you whether you believe anything any of them prints again. pic.twitter.com/vFy7zoGtM0

As you can see and ask anyone at the game, the stories reported that the Chelsea fans booed their own players is simply fake news
