Inter Milan are set to make a formal move for Chelsea centre-back, Kurt Zouma, in the next few days, according to reports in Italy.
The Frenchman is on the fringes of the first-team at Stamford Bridge, with Gary Cahill and John Terry the main partnership for Jose Mourinho, but with Zouma a hot prospect for the future, the Portuguese boss may choose to send him out on loan for the remainder of the season.
Zouma is expected to be the long-term replacement for Terry so won’t want to sell him on a permanent deal, but they may be interested in loaning him out for six months so that he can get regular first-team football under his belt.
It’s believed that Inter have lodged the offer to Chelsea and are now waiting for an official responce from officials at Stamford Bridge.
