Chelsea’s new signing, Juan Cuadrado, has revealed that it’s a dream come true to play for the Premier League club.
The Colombian international completed his transfer to The Blues on Transfer Deadline Day in a deal worth around ÂŁ26million, and in his first interview with his new club, he admitted how it’s a dream to play for the West London outfit.
Cuadrado’s move rested on Andre Schurrle completing his move to Wolfsburg, and after that was completed, Fiorentina and Chelsea struck a deal which saw the winger move to England.
When asked about how it feels to be a Chelsea player, Cuadrado said: “I am very happy to be part of this team.
“I’m very grateful to have been given this possibility to live what has been a childhood dream for me, which is to play for a very big club – in fact, one of the best clubs in the world.
“To be on the same team as all these big players is amazing for me, not only from a football point of view and how I can grow as a player, but also personally, to be surrounded by so many champions.
“It’s always going to make you want to grow and improve even more.”
