Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh believes if he was playing for Arsenal, he would have been rewarded a penalty last weekend, but instead, he was booked for diving.
The Moroccan international went down after being approached by the Southampton goalkeeper and despite there being no-contact, the striker believes that if he was in an Arsenal shirt, he would haven won the penalty.
Despite not saying it himself, according to manager Ian Holloway, Chamakh told him that if he was at his former-club, a penalty would have been given.
Holloway said:’He headed it and was just looking at the ball, and he said if he’d been at Arsenal he would have got a penalty.
‘But I still think he should have shot.’
