Luis Suarez refuses to get carried away given their current position. Suarez feels that it’s too early to say whether any team in the league is capable of winning it. Liverpool are currently second place in the league behind league leaders Arsenal by two points. The reds are looking promising after beating underperforming Tottenham Hotspurs 5-0. Despite the Striker scoring 17 goals in 11 appearances he insists that they wont know were they stand until they have played Chelsea & Manchester City.
If the merseyside club keeps their form up then the Uruguayan feels that the club will definitely retain their rightful position in the Champions League.
Luis Suarez said: “I think it’s too early to speak about, winning the league.”
“If we can continue this level for the next two or three weeks, we can win the league or finish in the top four. But it’s important the we concentrat, we have forgotten the game against Tottenham. It was very important , but we’re concentrating for the next game. After Cardiff, we have two big games and we can see were Liverpool could finish.”
