After Leroy Sane failed to sign for Bayern due to injury scare, the Bundesliga champions have closed a deal for Perisic.
The Inter winger looks set to complete a move to Bayern Munich after undergoing a medical with the Bavarians.
Inter Milan and Croatia winger Ivan Perisic have confirmed that he is on the verge of a move to German side Bayern Munich, according to reports in German media. In addition, Perisic was spotted in Munich on Monday morning and reportedly told Bild newspaper that he had undergone a medical check.
Perisic was pictured leaving the hosiptal today, as he declared: “Yes, I have just had a medical check-up. I will do my best!”
According to the report, Bayern will pay a loan fee of €5 million for the 2018 World Cup finalist, with the option to buy him outright for around €20 million at the end of the season. The 30-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the Serie A side, as Bayern have been in the market for wingers after Franck Ribery left upon the expiry of his contract and Arjen Robben retired.
The Inter Milan owned player will provide competition to Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman and could join in time to feature in Bavarians’ opening league game, as they take on Hertha Berlin on Friday.
