FC Porto striker, Jackson Martinez, doesn’t want to move to England, according to his agent.
The Colombian international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all interested, but the trio have all been dealt a blow by the agent confirming his client is happy in Portugal.
Martinez is valued at around £30million, and as reported earlier, Spurs were considering offering cash plus Roberto Soldado as part of the deal, but it’s now been confirmed that no move is likely to happen.
Henrique Pompeu, who represents Martinez, had this to say: “He is happy.
“He wants to be champion in Portugal and go far in the Champions League.
“There is plenty of talk, but he has an agreement with Porto and will respect it.
“He won’t leave in January.”
