Vardy has warned that Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante will be his enemies this weekend.

Leicester take on Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, with the duo returning to the King Power Stadium.

Kante left City following their title winning campaign, while team mate Drinkwater also left Leicester on deadline day for a move to west London.

And Jamie Vardy says the two former team mates will be his enemies during the game on Saturday, saying things will return to normal after the clash.

When asked if he was looking forward to playing against Drinkwater and Kante, Vardy told Sky Sports News: “Yeah it would be good to see them again but obviously come kick-off time they’re enemies.

“That’s how it is.

“As soon as the full-time whistle goes we’ll be back to talking again.”

Speaking about his move to Chelsea last week, Drinkwater revealed he’s excited to play with Kante again.

“I played with N’Golo for a season and there was not really a game I didn’t enjoy playing next to him,” Drinkwater told Chelsea’s official website.

“I am looking forward hopefully to carrying on where we left off.

“I think we hit it off from the first game and after that we did not really lose.

“He is a top lad, the most down-to-earth person you will meet.

“I can’t see him changing much and I am looking forward to meeting him again.”
