Liverpool skipper will fly back to England today
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is flying back to England today and could be fit in time for Sunday’s clash with Norwich City after undergoing specialist treatment.
The captain flew out to America to get a specialists opinion on his foot injury and although he’s been told he doesn’t need to have surgery, he has had some treatment during his stay in USA.
Daniel Sturridge has previously been in the States recovering from his long-term injury and there were initial fears that Henderson could be another long-term blow.

However, those fears have been dismissed with some reports claiming the midfielder could be back in action on Sunday.
The Reds take on Norwich at Anfield looking to get over their 3-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford, and Henderson’s return could be a timely boost for under-fire Brendan Rodgers.
It’s believed the skipper will likely make an appearance as a substitute rather than play the full 90-minutes due to the lack of first-team training.
