Winger could be a replacement for Eden Hazard
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is targeting Sevilla winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, according to reports.
The Blues boss was seen in the stands watching Ukraine against Spain during the international break, sparking speculation that he was there on a scouting mission.
However since then, he has rubbished those claims and stated his reasons of being there was to just watch football as he already has enough wingers at the club.
Hazard Replacement
Since being snapped at the Ukraine game however, reports have emerged that Chelsea star Eden Hazard wants to leave the club and join Real Madrid next summer, meaning the Blues would need to find a suitable replacement.
Hazard has reportedly told his family and friends that he wants to quit Stamford Bridge after growing frustrated with life in England and in the Premier League.
If Hazard does eventually leave the champions, it’s believed Mourinho will make a formal move for Konoplyanka after he was left impressed with what he saw.
However he will face competition for the Ukrainian, with Arsenal and Liverpool previously linked with his signature.
