Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is planning on selling five more players from the current squad in order to raise roughly £75million.

The Blues boss was very clear throughout last season that he will make drastic changes this Summer so that he can build his own team and take them to Premier League glory once again, and after already selling David Luiz for around £40m, the sales are not stopping there.

It’s reported that there are a further five players in-line to be sold by Mourinho, and he is hopeful that they can raise around £75m so that he can reinvest that cash back into the club by making more big-name signings.

The club have already spent around £59m on duo Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, who have both completed their moves from La Liga, and it’s believed a £21m deal is close to being agreed with Atletico Madrid for Filipe Luis, which will take the spending up to £80m.

Mourinho is preparing to sell; Fernando Torres, Romelu Lukaku, Petr Cech, John Obi Mikel and Ryan Bertrand, with the hope that the first four could bring in a minimum of £10m each.

It’s reported that Chelsea want £15m for Torres, who has failed to light up Stamford Bridge since arriving for £50m in 2011, £32m for young starlet Romelu Lukaku, £10m for veteran Petr Cec, £10.5m for Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel and roughly £6.5m for Ryan Bertrand, who spent last season out on-loan.
