Newly appointed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has apparently told the Red Devils to make Everton defender John Stones a top priority signing this summer, or did he?
Jose Mourinho has made it clear he will be pulling no punches when it comes to his Former employers, this may be evident as the former Blues boss has, according to the Daily Express, told United to snatch up Everton star John Stones before the London outfit do.
The Portuguese coach wants to get straight down to business in the upcoming transfer window
Mourinho will be no doubt on the lookout for more defensive reinforcements as he looks to build a solid team that can challenge for the Premier League title next season. Well, to be fair, I am speculating, I haven’t actually spoke to the man himself.
So now, the Daily Express claims that Mourinho has told the United powers that be to do whatever it takes to bring defender Stones to Old Trafford this summer, However, no official statement has come out of Old Trafford, Everton, Stones or Mourinho’s camp as yet.
Basically the Daily Express know that Mourinho is a keen admirer of Stones and he failed to bring the defender to Chelsea last summer, so this means according to those little facts we have this story.
