Contract will earn Chelsea boss £30million

Chelsea Football Club are set to offer Jose Mourinho a new four-year deal worth a staggering £30million.

The Blues boss returned to Stamford Bridge two years ago, and has guided the club to two trophies since then, winning the Capital One Cup and the Premier League.

Mourinho is enduring his second stint in England with the West London outfit, and he’s set to be rewarded by the club’s officials with a new lucrative deal.

New Four-Year Deal

According to reports, The Special One will be offered a new four-year deal before the new season kicks off, worth a staggering £7.5m-a-year.

Mourinho signed a four-year deal when he returned in 2013, but the board at Stamford Bridge want to keep his long-term future tied down, and with this new four-year deal, it will see him stay at the club until 2021.

Despite the club wanting to offer Mourinho a new long-term deal, the manager himself stated earlier this month that he didn’t need a long-term deal to cement his future at The Bridge.

Mourinho Loyal To Blues

“I don’t need a contract,” he said.

“Mr Abramovich needs to be very calm. I am in his hands. I want to stay, I don’t want to leave. I am not asking for a better contract. I am very, very calm. He doesn’t need to be worried, he has me.

“If he wants me to stay, I’m staying. When he wants me to leave, I leave. I know he wants me next season because I am working. A ten-year contract is not important.”
