Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has revealed Juan Cuadrado will sign for Chelsea and has said his goobye to current team-mates.

The Colombian has reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea, and is set to fly to London to complete a medical.

The 26 year old said goodbye to his Fiorentina teammates earlier today and packed his belongings up from the training centre in Italy.

Chelsea are likely to pay in the region of ÂŁ24.8 million, ÂŁ2 million less than Cuadrado’s release clause, after negotiating a swap deal involving Salah.

According to reports, Salah will arrive on an 18 month loan deal.

This is what Montella had to say on the deal.

“Obviously as a coach I’m sorry for Cuadrado’s transfer but Fiorentina have done the right thing.

“If Juan has cost so much it is because he’s worth it, meanwhile Salah comes to us.

“We’ll see how long it will take for [Salah] to be integrated. Technically he’s similar to Cuadrado but he cannot do the defensive side, though he is still a great player.”
