Winger has failed to impress during brief stint

Chelsea are willing to allow Juan Cuadrado leave the club this Summer after failing to impress since his move to Stamford Bridge just six months ago.

The Blues forked out around ÂŁ23million in order to sign the Colombian from Serie A side Fiorentina, with Mohamed Salah going in the opposite direction on a brief loan deal.

Premier League Struggles

However, since arriving in West London, Cuadrado has failed to impress Jose Mourinho and has seen most of his playing-time coming off the bench.

Even when he has been picked to start, the 27-year-old has struggled to make an impact and has failed to adapt to Premier League football.

Despite his poor start, it was expected that he would remain at the Premier League club, with Mourinho adamant that the fans would see the best of him next season once he had settled.

However, it’s now reported that he won’t be at the club next season as the champions are prepared to sell him over the Summer.

Guglielmo Cannavale, a sports journalist, tweeted yesterday that it’s been agreed between Cuadrado and Chelsea that he will leave, with a move back to Italy expected.

Move Expected After Talks

He tweeted: will leave Chelsea: meeting between his agent and Mourinho in next days. Inter and Roma are interested (via ) ‘.

It’s not yet clear how much The Blues would want for Cuadrado, after splashing out ÂŁ23m on him in January, but they don’t expect to get that money back after a failed stint in England.

Cuadrado Out, Winger In?

Cuadrado leaving would also free up room for Chelsea to sign one of; Gareth Bale, Antoine Griezmann or Raheem Sterling, who are all attracting interest from the English champions.
