Liverpool boss planning summer overhaul already
Jurgen Klopp is already planning for the summer transfer window as he eyes five new signings for Liverpool.
The German is set to endure his first summer transfer window in England as a Premier League manager, and according to reports, he wants to sign around five new players.
He’s already landed Marko Grujic and Joel Matip from the January transfer window, but he wants to sign a bit more in the summer in order to stamp his mark on Anfield.
As reported earlier, Liverpool‘s board will back Klopp financially, giving him over £200million to spend, and he already has five targets in mind.
The Wanted Five
According to reports, the Reds boss wants to lure; Mario Gotze, Piotr Zielinski, Ben Chilwell, Granit Xhaka and Karim Bellarabi.
Gotze, Zielinksi and Xhaka are all central-midfielders, whilst Chilwell is a defender and Bellarabi is a winger.
As of yet, there are no talks of a new striker arriving in Merseyside, but it’s expected at least one will be signed.
Klopp has also been linked with a trio of goalkeepers as he looks to add competition for Simon Mignolet ahead of next season.
