Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is not ready to move to the Premier League, despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool in recent weeks.
Klopp has been backed as one of the favourites to replace either Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, or Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool respectively, following a fine career in Germany.
Speaking ahead of Dortmund’s Champions League game away at Arsenal on Wednesday evening, Klopp played down talk of a role in England, stating that his time in the Bundesliga is far from over.
‘The only other language I speak is English a little bit and, for my type of coaching, I need the language,’ he said.
‘But not now, not this year, I don’t know when.
‘I don’t plan things. I was asked: ‘What do you do after Borussia Dortmund?’ I told them it is possible if somebody called me then we could talk about it but that is all. I did not say: ‘I am here on Monday’.
